§ 17-29. Docks, channels and waterway projects.

When the board of commissioners determines it is necessary for the public welfare and convenience to construct and maintain public docks, dredge channels and in general improve the waterways of the area, the board shall, by resolution, so declare and shall call an election for the ratification or rejection of such project the detail [sic] of which shall be set forth in said resolution.
