§ 17-65. Property taxpayer deemed to be freeholder.

Any person holding an interest in the title to real property located within the district pursuant to a recorded contract for deed which requires such person to pay the ad valorem taxes on the property shall be deemed for the purpose of this act [this article] to hold a fee simple interest in such real property and to be a freeholder.
