§ 2-3. Fees and charges generally.
(a)
The board of county commissioners shall adopt a fee or charge for county services, permits, developments of regional impact, changes to developments of regional impact, planned unit developments, variances and other land use permits or development reviews.
(b)
The board of county commissioners may adopt such fees or charges by resolution adopted at any regular or special meeting of the board.
(c)
The board of county commissioners shall set such fees or charges at an amount which the board reasonably anticipates will pay the cost to the county of all county officers and employees, consultants, experts, planners, and attorneys employed by or contracting with any agency of the county, for all labor and material expenditures, and all costs of hearings or advertising necessary or incident to such county services, permits or reviews.
