§ 17-16. Authorized.

Any area of contiguous territory within Franklin County may be created into a service district, whether such territory contain one (1) or more cities or towns, or portions thereof; provided, however, that no municipal corporation or portion thereof shall be included in a service district except at the request and with the consent of the governing board of governing body of such municipal corporation.
