§ 5-25. Apalachicola River.
(a)
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a boat at any speed which shall create a wake on the Apalachicola River on the following described area:
That part of the Apalachicola River in Sections 16, 21 and 22, Township 8 South, Range 8 West, between the Apalachicola Northern Railroad bridge or trestle and the Apalachicola River mile 5.7, same being Gulf Intercoastal Waterway mile 345.7, also being described as the southernmost or downstream part of the bend in the Apalachicola river, known as "The Pinhook," being the point of confluence of the Apalachicola River and the Jackson River, all being in Franklin County, Florida.
(b)
The no-wake area shall be plainly marked with standard no-wake signs, according to the rules of the state department of natural resources.
